It gives me great pride to be a part of the 4th grade team at Short Avenue Elementary.  My passion for the outdoors and working with children was solidified when I became a counselor with UniCamp, as an undergraduate student at UCLA. The pure joy that nature and young people brought to my life from those experiences was such an invaluable gift.  Ever since, I’ve continued to learn alongside children and adolescents in various settings, both inside and outside of the classroom. Raising my two sons has also brought me great joy and continues to do so, as I spend every chance I get with the two of them and my husband, camping, biking and traveling the world.

I came to Short Avenue Elementary, this gem of a place, in 2018 and feel so lucky to call it my home away from home!
