Leslie Rosales
​​Hello! My name is Leslie Rosales. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I have always loved school and been passionate about learning. I am grateful that I can now be a part of that process for younger humans. I believe people should have access to quality education, especially in the early years when much of the learning is about how to be a person.

I love Short Ave Elementary because the IB program encourages us to discover who we are and how we are a part of the world around us. I began to work here as an aide, then as a long-term sub. I feel lucky, grateful, and excited to be a part of the TK Team! Yay!

I received two BAs from UC Irvine, one in Anthropology and Psychology, and another in Educational Sciences. Before Short, I worked as an aide at a Montessori school. In my free time, I like to read, craft, eat, and go to the beach. I spend time with my hamster, Joy, and two cats, Barry and Blaze.
